A two-phase lotion that captures the full power of calendula,
grown in the nature of Awaji Island
Combining calendula oil and extract, the upper layer contains calendula oil extracted from vivid petals, while the lower layer is formulated with calendula calyx extract, drawn primarily from the calyx of the plant.
Long valued in skincare, calendula is known as a plant helps to keep skin that has been exposed to dryness or irritation in good condition — sometimes referred to as a "guardian of the skin".
Whilst only the petals are typically used, at SHIRO we believe in making full use of every part of an ingredient, and so the calyx is included as well.
With a simple formulation that lets the qualities of the ingredients speak for themselves, this lotion helps to keep skin hydrated against the dryness that can come with strong summer sun, whilst keeping skin that tends to feel unsettled feeling hydrated and balanced.
A balanced charge of moisture and oil
Formulated with calendula calyx extract and calendula oil in an 8:2 ratio, this product feels comfortable to use even in the seasons when a heavier feel on the skin is a concern.
As the amount of calendula calyx extract used depends on the harvest yield of the ingredient, this product is available in limited quantities only.

Calendula / Hirota Farm (Awaji Island, Hyogo)
Calendula has long been cherished as a protective herb, known for caring for easily irritated skin. At Hirota Farm, a rare heirloom variety called Muraji is grown as an edible flower, without the use of pesticides. Nurtured by the long hours of sunshine unique to Awaji Island, mineral-rich soil drawn from the surrounding sea, and a gentle climate that is kind to plants, the calendula blooms into large flowers exceeding 10cm in diameter, with a vivid orange colour that is truly striking. In SHIRO products, we use not only the beautiful petals, but the calyxes as well — using every part of the flower in its entirety.

金盏花因其舒缓敏感肌肤损伤的功效，一直以来都被视为珍贵的护肤草本。
广田农场种植一种名为“村路”的珍稀原生品种，不使用农药，可作为食用花卉。这种金盏花生长在淡路岛特有的充足日照、富含海洋矿物质的土壤以及温和宜人的气候中，花朵硕大，直径超过10厘米，呈现出耀眼夺目的橙色。SHIRO产品不仅精心利用美丽的花瓣，还充分利用花萼，确保物尽其用。
